Confrontation

I used to hate confrontation. I just didn't know how to handle anger, my own or others'. Usually I'd shut down or just walk away or freeze or cry. But no matter what I did, I always got angry at myself for not saying something bc in essence by not saying anything I was abandoning myself. Growing up, my mom had very explosive anger. And what I didn't know then but what I know now (after receiving a lot of healing work and doing energy healing on others) explosive anger is very wounding/damaging to the chakras when you're a child, especially the root chakra. Sometimes the chakra has to be rebuilt or restructured in order for it to be able to support us with a strong and solid foundation.
I don't love confrontation now and I'm still learning to be better at it but I feel stronger standing my ground and standing up for myself when it's called for. 🙏💖
